This stunning piece is made mainly from ancient Oak with cracks and splits so typical of Oak.  The splits have been filled and stabilised to allow them to be a feature as opposed to defects.  The rim has been formed with 16 individual segments to  create a rim with a fantastic shimmer effect as the light  hits it.   A simple decorative grape vine lid completes this one off item that can either be decorative or used as a pot pouri
